The Alameda County Computer Resource Center (ACCRC) refurbishes computers and related equipment to donate to schools, nonprofits and individuals. Founder and director James Burgett began this award-winning organization 13 years ago in a spare bedroom with virtually no money, before relocating the operation to San Leandro, Oakland, and now Berkeley.
